Screening of Le Retour (1945) / Stop Laughing, This is England (1963)

On the occasion of the festival Toute la mémoire du monde 2023 organized by the Cinémathèque française

Saturday 11 March at 2pm at Reflet Médicis

On the occasion of the Cinémathèque française festival Toute la mémoire du monde, the Reflet Médicis cinema (Paris) is organising a screening of the films Le Retour (1945) and Stop Laughing, This is England (1963) on Saturday 11 March at 2pm. The screening will be introduced by Serge Toubiana, President of the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson.

    U.S. Army Signal Corps cameramen and photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson film the liberation of prisoners and deportees from Nazi camps, their transfer to temporary hospitals and reunion with their families in Paris.
