The Bucerius Kunst Forum presents the photographer’s first major retrospective in Germany for 20 years. The exhibition reveals not only his early photographs and cinematographic works influenced by surrealism, his political photo-reportages, but also his portraits of famous artists and writers. On display in Hamburg are some 240 original prints and numerous original publications, highlighting the photographer’s entire body of work.
