French photographer Samuel Gratacap documents the passage of migrants through southern Italy and the Alps. His images are suggestive and gentle, contrasting with this painful journey. “From both sides of the border, from one world to another”, he uses the landscapes and people he meets to tell the story of an exile often portrayed as one-sided.
